According to a US federal study by the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration into illegal drug use and the workplace, released on 16 July, almost 1 in 5 of workers aged 18 to 25 admitted using illegal drugs in the preceding month.Worst affected sectors were restaurant and construction workers, where the incidence of illegal drug use is twice the US national average.
Drug misuse and the workplace will be one of the topics covered on Security Management Stage 1, which begins 30th July.
