Phil Wood recently took part in a new ASIS Chapter 208 initiative; 'Taking ASIS to the Regions'.
In what is hoped to be the first of many similar events, Phil briefed ASIS members from the North of England about CPP, PSP and the Power of Certification.
The breakfast briefing took place in Manchester with 23 delegates, although more were unable to attend as the event was oversubscribed! The success of the event indicates the rapidly increasing interest in these certifications and the desire for security professionals to obtain endorsement of their ability and to improve their credibility in the workplace.
ARC, on behalf of ASIS, will be running training programmes for both CPP and PSP in the UK during 2008, culminating in the certification examinations. Details are in the ARC 2008 brochure, which can be obtained by emailing Janet.
