Security Coordination and Management (SCM) Course, 25-29 February 2008

The SCM course is a comprehensive and intensive introduction to the essentials of security management, designed for multi-tasked managers and security managers unable to attend the full ten-day Security Management Stage 1 programme.

The course covers security risk management, security design and implementation, introduction to security surveying, physical and electronic security, access control, intrusion detection systems, CCTV and lighting, manpower selection, leadership and management, procedures and emergencies, information and IT security, investigations overview, protection against explosives devices and protection of at-risk personnel.

The course is delivered by Peter Horsburgh CPP PSP and Phil Wood MBE CPP PSP.
